Our services for Corporate IT and Vendors
Intimate roundtable discussions
CIO Network discussion groups address the most relevant issues in each of our
Focus Areas. Topics are chosen in close consultation with our advisory board and members, and sessions are led by business and IT leaders.
We host up to 10
events a year per Focus Area in Sydney and Melbourne. Our roundtable sessions are small, with a maximum of 12 participants. This enables everyone to maximise the value gained from peer to peer networking and allow free exchange of views and ideas.
Business Dating
Yes, the CIO Network can help to find perfect matches between organisations. We connect our members with others who have experience and success in dealing with the specific issues they are facing. We’ll also help members in the assessment and identification of their pain points.
Recently one of our members, AGL, who been considering implementing AGILE as a development methodology went on a site visit with another member, Insuranceline. As a result, AGL is now running the implementation of a new SAP module using AGILE.
Business dating helps members to make smart decisions, faster, by learning from others’ solutions to similar challenges.
Mentoring
We believe in ongoing learning. Our members have access to senior executives, who serve as mentors to more junior colleagues in similar roles or organisations. These relationships help managers to develop great leadership capabilities, and specialists to hone their skills.
The CIO Network helps to match and connect mentors and protégés. We can also help structure a mentoring program that works within the time constraints of both parties.
Knowledge library
CIO Network members have access to notes from previous roundtable discussions. Our library spans topics from all of our focus areas from benefits realisation through to vendor management. These resources can provide valuable insights and direction at your point of need.
Customised Events for Technology Vendors
We are able to leverage our extensive network of relationships with senior IT executives to create customised events for suppliers of technology products and services. We collaborate with vendors to create highly targeted lead generation activities and enable them to build relationships with senior IT executives from large organisations. We partner with suppliers to create an events strategy that meets their needs based on the industry and job title they are targeting, as well as ensuring the needs of the attendees are met, to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome. Please email Muneesh Wadhwa at muneesh@cionetwork.com.au to schedule a time to understand your lead generation objectives.
A Case Study
A CIO Network discussion session on Cloud Computing led Lend Lease Primelife to adopt the Cloud for disaster recovery. By learning from the experience of others they were able to fast track their decision making and embarked on this project with confidence.
The new disaster recovery environment reduced their annual capital expenditure and operational maintenance overhead. Lend Lease is now considering moving other services to the Cloud.
