Do you have an IT background, either as an senior executive, journalist, researcher or
IT events manager?
As part of our growth strategy we are looking to introduce a partner/employee into the business to take full responsibility for the creation of our content and event strategy.
Key Responsibility:
The individual will have strategic responsibility and ownership for creation of events, research content to establish the CIO Network as a leading source of peer information for senior IT executives
Role:
- Strategic and highly autonomous role - part time
also considered
- Keeping updated on challenges faced by our members and industry best practices to ensure the CIO Network is the premier resource of practical information for IT executives
- Encourage sharing of best practices amongst members.
- Showcase trends and research to the IT industry,
where possible
- Creation of discussion groups based on extensive member research and feedback
- Creation of conferences programs and sourcing of best practice presenters including writing of brochure copy
- Sourcing of best practice presenters or experts when required for particular discussion groups
Qualities & Skills Required:
- Degree qualified with experience in the IT research, IT journalism or generic conference creation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self starter with excellent research skills
- High degree of interest in business issues, industry trends
Senior IT executives who are in transition between
roles or taking a sabbatical are encouraged to apply.
