Drawing on the recent experience of Sanjay Sridher, Executive Director: NSW Department of Finance & Services, the session will explore the concept of authentic leadership in the challenging contexts of corporate life. Through a highly inter-active process facilitated by Professor Ken Dovey, Director of the MBITM at UTS, insights will be gained on the benefits to be derived from authentic leadership practice.
1. Deeper understanding of the concept of authenticity;
2. Improved ability to ‘read’ a situation and manage one’s response to it;
3. Increased capacity to establish the ‘sources of personal courage’ that enable one to confront the challenges to authentic leadership within a corporate context.
