7th Annual Identity Management & Information Security Forum
26th
& 27th February 2009
Sydney
Identity-related fraud is one of
Australia’s fastest growing problems, posing significant commercial, operational
and administrative risks to both public and private sector organisations alike.
Alongside rising e-commerce, losses to the Australian community are estimated to
be in excess of $1 billion annually, according to the Australian Competition and
Consumer Commission.
Another major problem Australian
companies now face is commercial espionage; with companies now needing to
protect the information on their customers/clients and business partners to
ensure this information is not breached. Securing sensitive information
regarding these people, in such a way that it can be accessed easily for the
purpose of keeping records of up to date information and so people can conduct
their day to day work duties, but secure enough to ensure that only the correct
people see the correct information.
The
conference will provide the delegates with the most updated information on how
to deal with the challenges caused by identity related fraud and how to
implement comprehensive identity management systems to reduce the risks and
costs. It can also keep the delegates updated of the latest technologies and
solutions.
