Interactive Discussion Groups with Limited Numbers

CIO Network discussion groups aim to address the most topical issues which are chosen in close consultation with its advisory board and members.

Due to restrictions on time available to senior managers, CIO Network discussion groups will not exceed 90 minutes and will be held either in the morning, evening or over lunch. These sessions will be led by expert facilitators or C-level executives.

The unique benefit of these gatherings is the small number of attendees (10-12) at each session, so as to maximize value gained from peer to peer networking and allow free exchange of views and ideas.

Member Advisory Service

To assist in decision making, our member advisory service offers the opportunity to forward a confidential business, management or technology related query to members.  All queries and responses will be treated in strict confidence and identities will not be disclosed.

Mentoring

Member organizations will have access to senior executives as mentors to assist with development of  leadership and management skills of managers. The CIO Network will assist in matching of mentors and protégés.

Access to Relevant Information

Short discussion group summaries created after each session will also be distributed so colleagues are kept  abreast of sessions outcomes.

Member Case Studies

Access to first hand experiences of members through documented case studies, with the opportunity to contact the member with any questions on the case study presented.

Online Forum

A online forum will be available to members allowing an online discussion to be had on various issues between discussion groups.

Vertical Industry Groups

With the growth in membership, vendor influence groups for specific industries will be created such as manufacturing, retail, managed funds etc.

Social Events

Social events such as golf days and wine tasting sessions, will allow senior managers to network in an informal and relaxed environment.

Site Visits

From time to time, site visits will will be organized by us to allow members to view the IT and non IT operations within member organizations.
